Pokémon makes a comeback!

Hey everyone! Today I’ll be talking about the sensation that has swept the nation — or rather, every nation in the world.
Pokemon-GO!

Not only is it a clever way to promote health and fitness, but it also is so much fun to take a walk (literally) on the wild side trying to catch our favorite Pokemon through this awesome new augmented reality app! Given the conditions of Pakistan, I would say its best to be careful while out on your expeditions. You never know who else is hiding in the bushes!

Aside from the rumour mill churning out stories about kidnappings and the like, this game really seems to have taken off.
The only annoying bit is how painfully slowly my on screen charachter actually walks. In real time, I’d have walked to the end of my street corner (a considerable distance) yet to my phone, its a mere steps from where I was previously standing. -.-

Many people have taken to cheating — whether intentionally or not, it is definitely unfair to everyone else when you’re able to hatch your egg faster because you’re driving around town and the on-screen character is oddly walking and running alongside you on the map.

The funny thing about the game is my inability to catch my favorite pokemon — eevee. She keeps running away! I’ve tried to catch her three times so far, and every time turns into a frustrating one.

One of these days, though…

I plan on making a cute little crocheted pokeychain of her soon! Maybe that will increase my chances of catching her? 😉

And I mean, the possibilities are endless! Keychains, cushions, scarves, beanies, gloves…the list goes on.

I’d love to know what your favorite Pokemon is! Let me know in the comments below! 🙂
